Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Hello Book Lover:

In this special occasion I have the honor to comment you about the Book Star:

“Jane Eyre”, a novel written by Charlotte Brontë.

9781435129740It’s a classical reading and if you like romance and drama, this reading is perfect for you.

Jane Eyre is a young governess who fall in love with the mysterious Mr. Edward Rochester. The first thing that caught my attention in this novel is that Mr. Rochester was so confusing in the way he acted around Miss Eyre, he always sent mixed messages to her and she didn’t understand them and to be honest, I couldn’t unscramble them either. The second thing was the age difference between them (which  I find so interesting) but because I don’t want to give you spoilers, you’ll found out the real age of Mr. Rochester if you read the story. The third thing is that you can feel everything that Jane was telling you, because she is telling you her story, you are part of her story. In addition, the storyline has some suspense because there is a strange secret that Mr. Rochester keeps.

Before reading “Jane Eyre”, I’d always listened about how Charlotte Brontë was known as an intelligent writer and why her female characters were so loved, and now I understand the fascination about this love story. Miss Jane is a strong woman who had a sad childhood but she had a firm respect for herself even when she also had a low self esteem.

After I read the novel, I watched one of the most recents versions of the movies (2011), where the main characters were Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender. I liked the movie a lot except the end of it, but I recommend it.

If you decide to read it: Happy Reading! – If you already read it: Good for you!

Thank you for reading my humble review.
